The Personal Data we collect

We collect the personal data you provide us with when you contact us, via this webform or otherwise, such as your email, phone number, name, address and other necessary information. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or any other direct contact from you (for example, setting up a trade account).  We will only use such personal data necessary for providing service to you in a secure and efficient way.  We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.


How we use your Personal Data and who we share your it with

We will use your personal data to address the reason you contacted us. To that end, we may disclose your user data to our employees and third parties, namely, Herbst Software, who operate our trade portal; they adhere to their own privacy policy.  We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization other than as necessary to fulfill your orders or requests (for example, to arrange external hauliers for deliveries).  We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.  Third parties will not be able to access user data beyond what is reasonably necessary to achieve their given purpose. Please note that we are not responsible for and have no control over privacy policies and practices of third parties.

We will use your personal data to give you service and support and to improve the overall experience of the service by email and telephone. In this context we will use your personal data to manage your questions, facilitate your commerce and to provide technical support.  We may also contact you by email or telephone if there is a problem with your order or delivery.  Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about specials, new products or services, or changes to this privacy policy.


Security

We take precautions to protect your data. When you submit information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (e.g. if you make an order through our website/trade portal), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests.

Legal grounds to process your personal data?
In order to provide you with the best possible customer service, we must collect and use your personal data. This is justified as a legitimate business interest. 

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer as we do not fall within the categories of controllers and processers required to appoint one under article 37 of the GDPR.
